Getjimmy is banned again. I heard in another thread theres a list of 5 people who was going to get banned. Then a few minutes later some one mentioned getjimmy and he was banned again. I couldn't ask him what was going on. Although some one messaged me and told me to get on yahoo because jimmy wanted to talk to me. But I had just got off work so I had no yahoo for an hour and hes not on. Theres like 5 people banned now. And from what I know there isn't a DP data base error it was manual.
Yes but not like this. All 5 were high ranked members and even mods. Getjimmy was banned twice today. He was unbanned for about 8 hours today.
:/ i'm sure the admins/mods will sort it out in due time. It's their problem (if it is even a problem, maybe these members simply didn't follow the rules), not ours, so why be nosey about it?
Maybe a hacked mod account unlikely top ranked members would get banned, unbanned and then banned again.
Disputes between mods? It could be a number of things. But it's none of our business. It will be sorted out in time
Getting banned doesn't have only one reason like hacking someone's account. It could be due to any other reason. I guess everybody knows norms of DP here so there is no need to mention....
Yeah everyone knows the norm, everyone seen it a 1000 times before. Whats not normal is a well respected member being banned (although seen before) but then unbanned and then banned again!! seems a good enough reason to mention it imo.
wow, must be someone got unauthorized access... especially to ban shoemoney. I'm sure they'll all discuss and change their passwords if possible.
I am not sure what happened with Jimmy nor will I speculate. However, I have seen many members who have been here a long time trying to test out the new rules. I am not sure if they think that their status as long time members excludes them from punishment or not. If you have been here a long time, you know that this is not the case. I do agree with all the rules and I hate to see anyone banned but if the rules apply to one it should apply to all no matter how long you have been a member and what you ranking is.
That is not a good thing to say about the moderators. When a community is this big, and big $$$$ are involved (read BST forums), I think half measures on the part of moderators wont be too good for the users, so I guess they have to go exactly by the rule book without any influence of how much the user greenies are.
