Please help, I got adwords coupon so I don't really care about losing the credits but currently I still have $30.

My campaign is not keyword targeted, its placement targeted. I got around 50 clicks (for $10 budget)

And there was no sales. Obvious??

depending on the sites your targeting and the product your selling, I would say its probably obvious

Probably there is something wrong with your landing page :) But try to look at your campaign as well. Read your own campaign and see does the title of the campaign provide misleading information to the readers? :)

By obvious - do you mean the keyword that received 50 clicks and no sales needs to be eliminated?

hmm, on my referral ads, i had 176 clicks and there was only 1 transaction... so 50 people go to your site without sales should be normal

Well in that case, how could Adwords be any good? 1 click - 23 cents. Budget is around 10 bucks daily. 3 days = $30.

    1 sale = $20

    That's not good

you need to think for this issue in future, do some research befor going for this activity. but would like to tell you that focus on 4% conversation on number of clicks and plan your campaign accordingly. It will solve your problems and if you got more than 4% then it would be a extra money for you.

make a keyword targetted campaign and target highly targetted long tailed keywords, they are low on prices and high on conversions.

the problem is that you randomly picked a site to target. This is a bad approach and not how you utilize placement targeting campaigns.

with your low daily budget, your better off targeting in sites that has the same niche as you. Btw, even so, the placements on those websites are important as well. Make sure they are visible and attractive in a way to visitors. Appearing at the bottom of the page, wouldnt work as effectively (in other words.. maybe it just wont work at all!)
