http://www.infowars.com/?p=2564 Why are so many international business leaders and politicians meeting? Doesn't this violate the Logan Act? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Logan_Act ~
lorien, do you find it interesting that so many big time businessmen and goverment officials meet in near complete secrecy, under the cover of massive security?
A few names in that list that should be executed for treason in my view. Kissinger, Perle and Wolfowitz. Freaking traitors!
Yep. I'm just about as interested in this as the local lodge meetings that I cannot attend because I'm not a member I'm sure -they- are plotting against me too! I'm more amazed at the narcissism expressed in the post. They meet, so they can figure out ways to control me and ruin my life. Even though, in the 21st century, there are certainly more efficient ways to plot, connive, gather and find ways to meddle in your affairs.
Why can't you just address the question I asked, without creating rhetorical questions and strawmen in response? Isn't it odd that the elite businessmen and politicians internationally, meet privately, without media scrutiny every year or two? I mean, Ben Bernanke meeting with politicians from other countries? Businessmen having a private conference with politicians? Isn't this the stuff the media is supposed to investigate and report on?
I didn't realize that people were not allowed to meet privately. Or belong to membership groups or anything. I know. People shouldn't be allowed to have acquaintances with people without the media interrogating them! Or you could - show some self reliance that you pretend to believe in, will ya? Go wander over to the meeting and ask everyone what's up. The media has been invited the past. Like previous years, there'll probably be a story about it in some paper. In which nothing happens. No lizards show themselves.
Not when they are in charge of the public trust, and paid from the public money. They are on the clock. They work for us. This isn't a casual meeting. This is a top secret annual conference between elite members of royalty, government and business that meet under extreme security. Alex and hundreds of others are there. I think Alex is grandstanding, but apparently many others are going to produce photography and video from outside the event.
Gimme a couple of martinis and some ecstasy pills and I could own a country by the end of that meeting.
If its top secret why are press allowed to attend? Why is there a story each time in the paper? Why is the attendees list public? These bilderbergers are the worst at keeping secrets. Not only that, whatever their evil schemes to rule the world are; they are doing a pretty crappy job at the follow through. And they have free time to do what they want. They are humans. They belong to clubs, groups and can still meet with people and talk with others without it being some nefarious scheme to rule the world. Get off yourself, dude. Not only does entropy here, but apply a little sense too. Will ya?
from a wikipedia description: This conspiracy stuff is unbelievable. Have you ever attended a meeting with experts and other experts. Have you ever found that personal meetings with such people can improve your business or govt. relationships. Maybe people learn things (oh my god...oh my god) at such meetings. Ever hear of the term "networking". The conspiracy people need to get out from their little closets and see some sunlight and meet other human beings.
When I see some of the things that conspiracy people come up with ....I tend to think of our old friend....the Unibomber..
The attendees list was never released to the public. It was leaked IIRC through Jim Tucker. You can't get a media credential to go inside. You have to be on the invitation list. The NYT or the Houston Chron can't send a beat writer to cover it. So Henry Kissinger meets with Tom Daschle, Mark Sanford, Condoleeza Rice, Ben Bernanke, David Rockefeller and the leader of the World Bank because they all like to hang out and party with one another? And they just happen to invite foreign politicians and captains of industry? Please tell me you don't really think this is a social gathering. I'll ask again, does this violate the Logan Act?
Earl, I absolutely exposed your total foolishness in the Foreign Aid thread, and reminded you that you are not an expert on anything. You read the Bilderberg Wiki entry, and are now trying to make authoritative statements about it? Yes, two turkish journalists in 53 years have written about what goes on @ Bilderberg. Even one of the journalists has admitted that he cannot discuss what was discussed there, while the other clearly lays out a political conference, which is strictly in violation of the Logan Act. What's unbelievable is that you call it conspiracy, and you don't know anything about it. Like how the media never covers it, they have secret service level security, no one is allowed in or out. They never publish an agenda, and this is the first year they have made a press release (because hundreds of people showed up outside). The attendance lists are not released to the public, and the location is kept top secret. This year, they actually pulled a bait and switch on the location, but insiders leaked the list and the location, so that protesters could show up. You're so naive to think it is "networking". This is high level political discussion carried on between members of the state, internationals and corporate big wigs. It is the ultimate in business/government collaboration, in the very manner most people fear. Where business shapes politics, at the expense of the people. Or maybe you can go back into your closet until you know something. This is two complete smackdowns on the forum in under a week. The internet may be an open book test, but you're still flunking it.
As I said, those god-derned bilderbergers can't keep a secret. What a shitty super secret organization. My local moose club's member list is harder to obtain This first sentence on this page says no. If you need help, please let me know, though! As Earl said, you really need to learn about networking. I'd also read up on Entropy and how it applies to organizations that have been around for long periods of time. This is simply an example of your favorite; negative proof. You assume something to be happening because you can't prove it's not. You do this a lot. I've worked in this type of environment. I've worked with lawyers who hated each other professionally but still played golf together, still went to business meetings together. Just because 2 people (or a group such as yours) belongs to the same "group" doesn't mean they all robotically believe the same thing. Only a conspiracy person attempts to believe this.
Read Daniel Estulin or Jim Tucker. Tucker is the one who has sources who leak the attendance list and help him track down the locations. They provide a very clear picture that this is not a social gathering, but a political and economic conference, without any sunlight. All you have to do is go to Earl's favorite web resource, Wikipedia, and read the accounts by the two Turkish attendees last year. So it's not negative proof. In your case, it seems to be "positive ignorance" of the facts.
Did you use a thesaurus to get antonyms? You should be proud! This guy? http://www.turkishdailynews.com.tr/article.php?enewsid=74966 Super secret. And super boring! Guerilla, you just do not understand what conferences are for. Are you upset that you aren't invited? Is that what it is? You want a secret handshake and a clubhouse?
Here is the part you didn't quote. Yep, clearly not a hangout. Looks like these folks didn't go to Turkey to party and gamble lorien. You lose. They are discussing politics, in the words of the author, international relations. So much for your false claim that I was adhering to "negative proof". Now go read some Jim Tucker or Daniel Estulin, who have been following Bilderberg around the world for years, not one time invitees in Turkey. You might learn something. I believe Estulin has published at CounterPunch. No lorien. Unlike you, and your willful ignorance of what is going on around you in the world, then your deliberate tactics of disinformation and personal attacks, I am interested in the truth. Maybe you should go back to peddling Bush's speeches second hand. You have a talent for rehashing half-truths and incoherent babbling.
