It's the place to be. A lot of fun things to do. If you have money to spend the fun will never end. But even if you don't have $$ still plenty of fun activities. Oh don't forget beautiful women ;)

In Aust we don't have major problems, I live in the rural sector
and If I need an air ambulance and hospital treatment it's free.
(medicare/healthcard) Given the fact that our population is
about 1/15 to the usa its just a shame that a country can
spend billions of dollars on war it should be able to spend more
on Health care. Don't get me wrong I like the US I just hope that
it can gain some balance to its basic economics.:)

Yeah Bush totally screwed us. This happens every couple decades. We drop like a depression but we go back up higher then we ever were. I seriously hate him. But him and his family are making a huge amount of $$$. The bushes are in the OIL. They have been for generations. Wish we could strip him and his family of all there assets.

Used to live in Europe. Less killing - more gypsies, better nightlife - less money

Anywhere where petrol does not cost £1.20 a liter (like here in the UK) which can't be hard to find, haha.

So I guess I'll vote USA

I know petrol prices are rising world wide. I'm glad I don't
fill up in England though, according to your figures it would cost
    (£1.20 x 2 Aust currency conversion) about $2.40Au per
litre:eek: We're complaining about $1.50Au per litre which
is quite expensive considering our CPI (consumer pricing index)

There aren't many bad rednecks left. Your thinking about 1900-1970s. And you can only find them in about 4 states and even then there rare.

Yeah your absolutely right It would work out around $2.40 a liter, its going up all the time. Everything else is dear too. House prices are sky high. Its impossible for 1st time buyers to get anything really

Why do I want to go from Romania to USA?
One of the reasons: in the media they say that the average sallary will be ~1200 euros/month in 2020, given the fact that now it's ~350 euros/month. The gas price is 1.10 euros/litre... so do the math. And 2 bedroom apartments go higher than 130.000 euros.

It's so sad that it makes me laugh... in 2020 I will have ~1200 euros.... wwoooooooooww! Jesus... :(
So the hell with this country! I'm not waiting 12 more years when the gas price will be 5 euros to have that sallary... that will be damn low also, with those growing prices on every product.

So, given the fact that prices are twice higher than in US and salaries 5-10 times lower than in US, the average life quality in Romania is 10-20 times worse than in USA.

Not mentioning the fact that in we're still in 1900 with technology and public services.
