I used both Windows mobile and Symbian. Finally I'm using symbian and I don't like Windows mobile. With my symbian phone, I think i can do many thing same as Computer
Go with symbian, better and more open source. I'm a huge fan of symbian os 9.2. I'm a symbian theme developer and I used both operating system. Symbian is just more compatible with everything, trustworthy and easier to implement. So for me, Symbian is the best.
I have a HTC Touch and a Nokia N95 and still use both. The HTC touch is great for writing long e-mails - I am rubbish at texting. I use opera mini for both it is the best mobile browser I have found - there are newer ones in development. Mobile IE sucks.
I agree about Mobile IE. That needs a major overhaul. I can't believe they didn't do that in the last Window's update.
Well, I've installed a few: iGo MyWay navigation, Shape IM+ (multi messenger - works with YM, MSN, Skype, AIM), Pocket Heroes (my favourite game), TRE (a registry editor), Pocket RAR, TCPMP player and most important Battery Status Today plugin (to overclock the CPU). Oh.. and a custom ROM!
I prefer Windows mobile than Symbian. I use Windows on my desktop so I want Windows when I go mobile.
symbian platform is far more better than windows mobile, supports more applications and other stuff. Also it is more popular as it was stated before and it has a more wide use.
Windows Mobile is much better. Much more soft and I personally like it because it looks similar to Windows OS ; )
