Best FREE file hosting?

Hi.

I have a file thats just over 2GB in file size, I want to send it to a few friends.
But i can't seem to find a free file hosting service that actualy works.

The best i have found has been http://www.filedropper.com/ but it pauses like at 1182kb eveytime.


can anyone recomend a good free file hosting service, with unlimited downloads and file size of 3gb or more?

There is a signup, but they offer a maximum upload of 10GB [or 10 hours of uploading] for free.

 

try digitalvault been using it to backup some of my files [just google it, cant post links yet]

SuperNovaArcade....The upload must not be larger than 1GB and must not last longer than 10 hours.

 

My bad...I just woke up from a hard night last night. You can scratch Filefront then.

You can also try P2P transfer like torrents etc.

 

I want my friends to be able to download my file via a link..

YouSendIt[dot]com would work for IMO, the filesize limit is 10 GB but I guess every guy who wants to download your file needs some kind of a software.

Not sure if they offer 3 gigabytes of space.

Why don't you just split the file in to multiple pieces using winrar?
