90 page penalty

Hi,
starting 2 days ago my site had a huge drop in search results index.
It used to be in the first 2 pages for some search strings, but now i can only find it on 90+ pages.
The number of indexed pages is the same.
Have any of you experienced this problem? What could be the cause for this?
Is there any way to get back faster?

When I was using 3waylinks on my sites they did the exact same thing. We were told to wait it out and the pages would come back into the top rankings. Some of the pages did eventually come back with better ranks but others didn't.

I believe its a case of just continue with your link building and try not to do anything against google webmaster guidelines and prayer might help.

 

I same thing happened to 2 of my sites too though there are .infos.

all you can do is wait patiently and hope I am afraid. You are under the mercy of mother google.

 

Some saw pages return within a month others said it took longer, some of my pages returned to near their original positions within a month, others disappeared forever for their target keywords.

I did see something about this before, not sure if it was this forum, try a search for 90 page penalty or something along those lines.
