Having received another load of spam from one of the same old countries which nothing good comes out of internet and otherwise, I have decided to make this blog post: http://firetown.com/cool/?p=453 My question goes to DP members with a brain (there are some here ) Wouldn't it be good to be able to block all incoming email and all websites from certain countries which we can pick?
my vote goes for no. and for the record i am getting biggest ammount of spam at my joomla comment system from France. complained to abuse service, but they did not respond and i eventually moved from ako comment tse to joomcomment
all proxy owners might have banned these countries but how to ban e-mails from specific countries i want to stop lot of winning lottery spam mails
My vote goes to no. In that countried you have good people too. They just need to make better laws about spam and warez and to cooperate with worldwide police, and that would be okay.
Damn those communist fools! Ooops, I said it. Russia's communist. Nobody should be banned from the internet that is too far. We should have the ability from banning emails from other countries though like Chandan said. That's a good idea.
Communism is okay, but not radical communism like in Russia. During communists in ex Yugoslavia (that was not communism it at all - it was socialsm, but western states called it communism), that country has more freedom of speech and the best health care in Europe. And of course crime has been lawer for 300 % than now in ex Yugoslavian states, which some of them are in EU or they are candidates (Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia, Serbia, Macedonia and Monetnegro).

I get about 30 spam accounts a day sign up to my joomla site from Russia. Poland is also another big spammer! The spammers are probably not even in that country though. That are just doing whatever they do to cover their tracks.
I vote for no because spam is world wide thing. Every day I get e-mail like "Make smth bigger". And most of spam are not from RUS and CHI.

Leet, I live in Costa Rica. There are huge underground scam rings here involving phone centers and Western Union. If Western Union closed its doors here, do you believe that the honest businesses who suffer from it would take a stand and make sure that the government does its job and get rid of illegal activity to make sure that business continues?
