Dear friends. I would like to let you know all that, last month i have stated the adwords campaign for one of my site. I have set daily budget 200$ and maximum bid was 0.18$. But after 2 days when i have checked my adwords account then i have seen google has only spend my 8$. Where as within 2 days google should spend 400$(as daily budget was 200$). I was confused. And still confused !! Why google didn't spend my money properly. If anyone have any idea or information then please share with me. Thank you all Love you all
The budget that you put for your ads is only the maximum that you are willing to spend, this in no way means that Google will use all of this budget, there are a variety of factors that determine whether your ad is shown or not (landing page quality score, ad competition, your ad text, etc), you can never expect that Google will automatically spend your full budget, basically you have to work to optimize your ads, your site and your budget to spend your full budget each day. If you really want to spend that full amount you can usually bid a very high price per click and get it, but I don't recommend this, its all about how many clicks you can get for the lowest price so its worth it to optimize.
You are right. But the fact is this, that i wanted more click. Thats why my daily budget was 200$ and maximum bid was 0.18$ Yes, I know there are many reason/factor. But atleast should use 10% of the daily budget. I am really so upset. Anyway, thank you mate.
That might be a sign that your keywords list is extremely weak. Another possibility is that your copy writing skills is very poor as well (no offense there), therefore, it did not attract and trigger viewers to click on your ads. What you need to do is to improve you keywords IMMEDIATELY. Do some research for your niche, do testing with it, so it will convert. Look at your competitor's ad, how they write their ads to achieve those clicks. Lastly, its also important to understand the placement of your ads. Make sure they are appearing on the first page. Good Luck!
just because your budget is $200 does not mean google will spend it. 1. Your portfolio of keywords needs to generate enough volume that it is even possible to send you 1,111 clicks. Thats $200 / 0.18 per click. At a 1% CTR thats 111,100 impressions. I do not know many keywords that generate that many impressions per day, and if they do, the competition on them is probably willing to spend a lot more that 0.18 per click. I think you need to really sit down and understand the adwords system. If you need help, you should consult with a professional, but I think you are getting upset about something I could have told you was not going to happen in the first place. What niche are you in and what are your goals?
