Which php shopping cart application is most SE friendly?

    I have been using Zencart for sometime and just thought I would explore other options. As far as SEO , which shopping cart is the best?

    You may try Avactis shopping cart. They have SEO friendly URLs.

    it is very common question. :)
    First of all, there is no ultimate "the best" solution. To my experience, most of "free" solutions can be customized for SEO. But such mods cost significant money. You can simply found them via google.

    Paid solution are bit better but still requires some modification.

    Personally, I use litecommerce for small projects, it is build using MVC model and have good SEO capabilities. But in most cases it can fit only to small-medium projects.

    I am being asked to pay for the script to download it, no matter what. What do you actually mean by "Free Until June 30, 2008"?

    At the bottom of the page is a link to download the script for free. It is below the buy now links. I am actually going back in and turning the buy now links off. But, yes, you can download the script for free and I am going to keep it that way. I will charge for webhosting if somebody chooses to get the script installed on a server.
