I can't speak for anyone else here but I sure did. It didn't happen in one day but it did happen over night. With bit of luck, hard work and persistence, I went from $0/day to $250/day with paid search. Why people struggle: My theory I have been doing this "make money online" for a year now. When I started out, I was just desperate to make any thing. Overcome by emotions on how people are making 1000s and I'm struggling, I didn't get too far. I lacked focus and I struggled to make pennies for a year. Few months ago I was at a stage where I knew I had to do something to break out of this emotional struggle. For most people, its the thought of "how come I can't make any money. How come it's working out for others". Breaking out of this emotional cycle is the key. Once I did that, I was able to focus on my goals, learn and progress. Now, I'm doing okay. I would say far better than where I was a month ago. Also, I have to give credit to Ryan (GTAce) for his private forums. My experience with Azoogle so far has been positive.
Lol that's first question everyone asks. Little over $100. ROI is consistent, in the range of 80% - 110%.
Thanks It's been a lot of fun watching you progress. You made it sound like you were on the verge of giving up at one point there, but I've seen what kind of determination you have and it doesn't surprise me one bit that you're making good money now. Congratulations
people need to get the "JUST PHRACKING DO IT" attitude in their head. I remember (so long ago) this is what got me to really start producing an income online, http://www.seoblackhat.com/2007/01/29/do-it-fucking-now/
Nice job. Last month was my first month I started generating revenue, and this month so far has been awesome. $4,5xx so far in revenue. Yesterday was my best day of $938 profit with CJ. I don't think it's some huge emotional struggle. I just think people have the wrong information, the wrong guidance, the wrong outlook on everything. It's extremely simple process to me. 1. pick an offer 2. build a keyword list 3. build a page 4. test/track 5. filter out bad keywords 6. bank They all have more advanced techniques ofcourse, but even those are simple.
You hit it right on target. It's that simple when you get it. Pretty much that's the story with my first successful campaign. Of course, the revenue will go up as the time goes on and as you sustain good QS through out. I did explain the same point here in more details. http://niche-affiliate-marketing.co...creating-successful-campaigns-from-the-start/
Hi, There are many considerations I've found in doing affiliate marketing. I myself did not have a good experience and I don't know why. I had done everything according to this pretty much right. Except I did not make a separate splash page for the offer, I just linked to the offer page. I picked an offer, and then a couple of others. The Adwords bill came to $200, but the revenue came to $0. Do I know what went wrong? No I really don't. That is one reason why I looked into BBS Global Diamond Elite because they offer business-neutral training to its members and they also have a 3x6 forced matrix affiliate program. I just made a thread for it in General Marketing and its link is: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showpost.php?p=8549987&postcount=1
"Except I did not make a separate splash page for the offer, I just linked to the offer page. " I am not an expert, but that is your common mistake probably.
Do you normally use a seperate domain for each splash page or do you put all the splash pages on one domain?
so.. why in the world do you tell us all those things?? of course it`s the emotional step ... to be a winner you have to have a strong character ...
That's because those are hurdles that I had to face and I'm saying that you have get over them to move on the next step towards being successful. It's easier said than done.
We have found that buying websites and forums and "salting" them with informative articles about the product we are promoting, is far cheaper in the long run, than using adwords. Plus, you still have a site to keep/sell on at the end of it.
So you are thinking I should have built a splash page that would spell out the offer, simply, and then either squeeze or direct the visitor to the offer page? What is the most important element of a splash page that the offer's splash page can't provide? It was simple enough. They said, just complete four steps, and get this and that. I wrote the ad that converted to clicks alright, and the numbers of clicks recorded in Adwords was multiplied appropriately in Azoogle by the numbers of pages in the navigation, so what went wrong? Clicks were delivered. But are you thinking, autoresponder?
While I can tell you lot of seo itself, I am still learning myself about aff programs and all. I worked mostly with clients and commercial sites. Regarding to your question many people on this forum do and advice others to make landing page or even landing site and then send people to offers from that page/website. Probably most merchants don't allow direct linking, and even if so it become too expensive. So you are thinking I should have built a splash page that would spell out the offer, simply, and then either squeeze or direct the visitor to the offer page? - yes. What is the most important element of a splash page that the offer's splash page can't provide? - simple, it's yours offer, not theirs But are you thinking, autoresponder? - in email marketing campaigns probably. In this case I really don't know, maybe even direct linking to offer will work then. You need to ask merchant about all that cases.
I am too still having emotional issues when it comes to testing, casue i cant seem to test my hard earn money. what do you set your daily budget too and what is your average cost per click
Hey web dev, that's great to hear. I looked at your blog too - nice and readable. I like your upfront writing style and look forward to your account of how the journey unfolds.
