Paypal limits the a/c. Need your advice

Paypal has limited my premier a/c

And has asked for utility bill.

I have the utility bill with the address on record of paypal a/c

Problem is the bill is not in my name. It's in the name of the chairman of the association of the building.

Will paypal accept this document ?

Anyone who has been in this situation, kindly help with your advice.

 

I think all you can do is send them and tell them the situation. Didn't they ask for other things?

 

PayPal would normally ask for utility bills to confirm that your address is correct. So if the address on the utility bill matches the address which is filed under your PayPal account then there should be no problem.

 

I had my paypal account limited! But now it's verified...My name on the bank account isn't same that the name in paypal, but they verified my account!

Well guys here's the update.

Account has been restored after submitted a couple of documents.

They asked for a utility bill which was not in my name. Subsequently they gave me the options of providing some other documents.

After submission the account got restored in a couple of hours. Makes me feel relieved.

 

yes... this kind of things hapens once in a while, i was limited as well when i started my ebay business but everything was back to normality when i sended the documents

in other words dont be scared if this happens, if you dont have nothing to hide you have nothing to fear

 

don't bother with paypal, they going keep making excuse to keep your limited for 180days.. just sue them

 

You are right. But the way they limit your a/c and the volume of limited accounts that were screwed here at DP just scares the thought of being one of those victimized

Can they be really sued.. since the countries are different
