Quick Success with Long Tail Keyword Article

I am new to affiliate marketing and have started a review site. So far I only have one set of products reviewed:eek:.

I have a small ppc campaign going (it's killing me) and have been learning what I can about article marketing.

I wrote six articles for my niche and submitted them to ezinearticles. They went live on June 3rd. I tried to use long tail keywords, one of the articles is getting way more reads and clickthroughs than the others. When I did my research I figured that the term got between 400 - 500 searches a month.

I just checked google, This is June 5th - so it's been two days - and when I search the term in quotes it comes up 1st in the search and when I search without quotes it is the last return on the 1st page!! That is much faster than I would have expected or hoped for.

Going to go write a few more articles to get to 10 so I can get my account upgraded;).

well, the first rule of thumb to learn is that article subissions DO . NOT . WORK.

write unique, quality content. that will help bring backlinks which will then help you rank higher in the search results.

additionally, be active with social media so it helps get your name out there more.

Depends on what type of article submissions you are referring to.

I have a question that you guys may be able to help me with - and it's seems kind of silly.

I am using the free keyword tool at http://freekeywords.wordtracker.com.

The results that come up for estimated searches is for a month, correct?

    How are they figured?

    Thank you in advance

Thank you very much - so it's daily searches, not monthly - that's good!
