Thanks for the reply. Yes, I just saw on Wikipedia and was amazed to read the success story of K P Singh. DLF has really made a lot of bucks from Gurgoan and the company owns a lot of prime properties there. Some of the best companies in the world have their offices in the DLF area and I was really amazed to see the transformation of Gurgoan into a high tech city all thanks to DLF.

The Ambani brothers might make it to the top of the list in a few years. I am sure they would be loosing a lot of money (or rather not profiting that much) from their oil business due to the rise in oil prices or otherwise they would have reached even a higher level.

Its quite interesting to note some of the business interests of Reliance (owned by Mukesh and Anil Ambani):

* A telecom company
* An investment company
* Oil refineries
* A huge retail chain
* A clothing company

I would have missed some names!
