Help Needed on Paypal Dispute

Hi few months ago i sold a guy 5 domains for $150usd. its on April actually.
He came to my MSN and we had a chat that his sending now the payment whats your paypal and other stuff. He first sent me $150AUD which i denied. Then he sent me $163.47AUD = $150USD. After that i gave him those domains from name.com by free push to his account. he gave me his name.com userid, account number, to send him those domains to his account . I have gave him and the deal was done. after some time like 2 hr i got to know that i got another payment of $163AUD from him. which i thought was mine so accepted it. after those months, yesterday he opened 2 dispute against me for 150usd and $ 163AUD. I emailed him on his paypal email about the situation. I just told me that he dont even know me, dont know about any domain he purchased. I am shocked. I told him that i have proofs of MSN log which i showed him. I got fund email from paypal which i showed him. All the proof is ri8 but he is denying those. he just want to say that he dont even know me, not about those domains also. Now i said him that the accidentally double payment that he made , i will refund him but i can't refund him the $150usd which i got by selling by domains to him. but still he denies it, he wants full 163.43AUDx2 refunded. I said him that i have every proof to show to paypal that you purchased the domains from me.

I gave info about the transection to paypal with all proofs i have so that paypal can deal with it easily.

Now i question is will i lost my money?? does paypal deals with virtual products like domains.

Please suggest me what can i do to get my money back??. those are on hold by paypal. also paypal made limited access to my account. i did send my address and CC statement to paypal for proof. hope my account will be active to full access.

Also like to add that i am a Paypal Verified Business account holder. and that guy is unverified paypal account holder.

    Thanks,
    Bunty

There's a good chance, you will loose this dispute/claim
cuz paypal doesn't cover digital stuff

just transfer the money to your bank, and forget abt paypal lol

paypal do not accept that kind of proof.... so you will lose the money no matter what... there are tricks that you should use before selling the domains to him so that he cant reverse the payment no matter what... but now its too last and you already transfer the domains to him.. so you lose the domains and the money as well...

He didn't say he was sure, he said there's a good chance. I have lost a dispute against a crappy hosting company called bitesites (bitesites.com named and shamed again) who didn't even setup my server and then ignored me and paypal ruled in their favour. Even after I provided PP with reems of information and all they responded with was 'services rendered', I still lost.

It is fair to say that he probably wont win. It is best not to get his hopes up in my opinion :)

The sad reality is that Paypal sides with buyers 99% of the time.

One could say that having chat logs with IP info would help. But even having E-mail's, with full headers, never helped me with Paypal disputes. There is no written contract or photo ID of the buyer, and that is about all the proof Paypal accepts.

Paypal keeps its costs low and profits high by not getting too involved with disputes. That's why buyers normally win disputes and the sellers get screwed.

If you want to avoid this in the future, use an escrow service for domains. You can also get your own merchant account which is not such a pushover for the scammers that use Paypal in their theft by deception tactics.

Best of luck to you, and I hope you win the dispute.

lol i hv won 81 (100%) disputes as the seller and lost all as a buyer.
And he cant withdraw to his bank account as paypal would have blocked the fuds since its over $100. You hv probably lost your money, just send the buyer a PM/mail expressing your desire to fuck his mom/sis

If you won against hosting companies you were probably the buyer so this wouldn´t be anything special you won those disputes. Buyer wins in 99.9999% in cases with digital delivered items
(even if the sellers has "proof" and everything: doesn´t matter for PP)

Why should PP block any funds over 100$? :confused No reason why PP should do this.

hold on surely i heard that the seller can just say intagible item during the dispute and paypal will accept that (obviously not as basic as ive said)

also if you sent him the domain can you not whois the domain as further proof?

PayPal will put a hold on your account for 30 days.

It does not matter about who is wrong, it is
automatic if someone disputes a payment.

So, you will probably not know for 30 days.

This being a Domain Issue, you might be
able to go through ICANN and at least
    get your domain back.

    I would try it anyway,

    Jim ><>
PS: You will not owe the buyer
    anything except the original
    purchase price.

    Oh,

You can also contact your bank and
    stop all withdraws from PayPal!

    Then Open another PayPal account
    with another Email address.
    I recommend Gmail.com

Plus, you can go to Citibank
    online and open an account
and use that as your new
    bank with your new
    PayPal account!

Citibank is not very picky about
who is allows to open a
    checking account!

Plus you get a debit card too.
And you can add that as
    your PayPal CC.

That's sad to hear, he either planned that, or realized really late about the extra payment and didnt like that you took it.

Why would you just take it anyway?

when I used to sell myspace adder programs and people done a chargeback, I used to just say "digital delivery item, they can't return the item so I refuse to refund the money" and I ALWAYS won the dispute

and if this guy is claiming he doesn't know you or own the domain, then it's obvious that he can't/isn't willing to give it back

so my bet is that you'll win

oh, and paypal don't want to lose a good customer do they?

    ;)
