Hello, I have one case here. I'm optimizing my new website and it is ranked very well in most googles (for most countries) for example google.it, google.co.uk, google.com.au etc....but not in google from US. How is it happens? I have a friend in USA and he told me that for the keywords where I'm listed on the first 10 positions in google.it or google.co.uk ...or other googles from many countries...it happens that in USA I'm listed on 100-150st position. How is this possible? My website is hosted on a US server. Do I need to wait???? Or am I promoting my website in a wrong way? I'm submitting the website to different directories (not only US)...but I do not think that this is the reason...probably I need to wait...because the diferences in rankings are sooooo big (not 1-2 pages....its about 10-20 pages!!! for the same keywords.) Thanks for any help.
I think you should counsult a good seo because for right help . I don't think only directory will work do some link exchange with related niche blogs and sites also that will help you to get indexed .
It is not a problem for me getting indexed...google already indexed 6500 pages of my website. My problem is why so big differences in ranking "Google from USA" vs "Google from all other countries". Strange!!!
How old is your site now? I think your are doing the right promoting, you might need more strong backlinks so your site will be indexed in other google data centers.
No the number of websites are even less in USA than on other countries. My website is one year old but I started promoting it 4 months ago when I also started to get back links. Yes, probably I need to wait more time...and maybe buying some good back links from paid directories will help me ranking in US datacenter.
