I have posted 5 unique content items now and there is no diggs really. It seems that people only see them once you have just posted them, and if nobody diggs them then they are just never seen and forgotten about. Would it be wrong of me to ask some of you to Digg for me? ------------------------------------------------------------------- Sorry if this is the wrong section, it looked like the most suitable
You should pick your category and topics wisely..then Concentrate on content quality since this is one of the effective ways to stand out from bunch of articles. If your article is really interesting, people will read even without asking them to digg it.. Another advice, create a catchy title and good description coz readers checks them out first before going to the main page
Use OnlyWire.com to submit to multiple directories. Use your blog posts for traffic and search engine bait and do not worry if any Diggs you or not. Just get alo of posts into a lot of directories and your traffic will reflect that.
Digg is shit. that's why you get no diggs. You will get diggs if: 1. you own a super popular site where you post all crap articles that everybody loves 2. you have a network of mutually helping friends 3. you are Kevin Rose Just looks at digg's frontpage articles. You will see the same websites lifehacker, makeuseof, arstechnia, readwriteweb, flickr, mashable etc etc You write an interseting and unique article and post it to digg. Nobody diggs it. Then someone else from the above mentioned sites writes about the same thing and it gets 4763 diggs. Even the most stupidest article from thses sites gets to the front page. This sucks!! happened to me a couple of times. Now I have stopped visiting digg. It's some sort of a monopoly. Besides, most frontpage Digg stories are bought. read this http://www.instantfundas.com/2007/12/full-disclosure-who-is-cheating-on-digg.html
At Digg you need to spend some time networking before you'll get anywhere. You need to comment on peoples stories, make friends with people that submit similar items and build up a submission history. Try 50 stories rather than 5.
Do more fresh and quality content. Make it interesting so that people will come back to your blog, and don't forget MAKE FRIENDS ONLINE.
