As the title says this can be a useful question for webmasters having a non-english language site. In some countries it's very expensive to get articles writed by hiring a writer (Germany, France, Italy, Holland etc.). Prices can be up to $25 an article. So would creating English language articles for a non-english site help to create backlinks? Or is it a waste of money? Thanks
Why are you asking the same question twice? See your previous thread SEO Basics for non-English written/targeted sites.
Well in my previous thread you and others adviced me to stay on the traditional way by creating articles in the same language as my site is. Now I'm asking for feedback if it's useful to write in another language than my site is written, and I would like to read more opinions/experiences of people who have done this before.. so basically yes, I am asking a similar question, but in my previous thread I was adviced to go with the same language as my site, but now I'm asking how it will be to go with another language written article.. thanks
Yes Pilar So Now If you are going to make a website and Translate into German or Spanish, French, Portuguese etc.. Now you will need to figure out traffic to the newly translated sites. There are many ways to draw traffic, but the search engines are just as important in German or Spanish as they are in English. your original site is in English, the translation into German language, for example is already completed and you have a list of English search terms (keywords). The first step is to identify equivalent German search terms. This might not give you the same number of search terms in SEO Tools . For instance, if you start with the 10 search terms like "sony vaio laptops or cheap laptops" you will most likely end up with twice as many search terms in German country. so main point is keyword research for other language and country specific. and i'd Like to Suggest You to Do same things for Different language like . No Need to Set up subdomain, NO Different Domain and Hosting but very famous Microsoft is doing with sub folders for different language. for example German language so they've made *microsoft.com/de/de/default.aspx* You can create subfolders with different language , there is no problem in SEO but it is recommended . Hope, you will consider this points in your site. Thanks John
