how far posting on forum threads with dofollow signatures having a high PR are helpful for gaining good positions in search engines or increasing PR
well it will help but dont expact alot of that way to get backlinks even if the forum got a high page rank in the end u should look at the page that u are posting on it page rank most of the pages unranked but its indexed by google and that will help u with the SERP but wont help alot to gain more Page rank from ur signature
I have 5000 post count in one other forum- and yet the site in my sig link was PR2 for a year. Forum sigs are no good for PR. just human eyeballs
That's right. sweetfunny has posted results of an experiment where forum SIGs didn't help much. There are TOO many outlinks on forums that PR juice passed is 'really' low.

Posting on dofollow forums will help you gain backlinks and also some traffic. If your site is of the same niche you could expect decent amount of traffic if your a regular poster on the forum.
Forum signatures because they are anchor tech links that are using keywords can have a profound impact. I know this by experience. We sit #2 nationally for a keyword phrase. Our websites both have about the same number of links. Our website is optimized and updated daily our competitors is not. The difference is our competitors links are anchor text links from forums and our links are generic.
it will help but try to focus getting links from websites that have the link throughout their whole site on every page, not just blogs.
It will help with regards to getting indexed quicker. It wont give any major SERPs boost as they are relatively low quality links. But if you post a lot you should get referal traffic.
This should just be one method of building backlinks.... it will definitely help, but don't just rely on it... try other link building tips and techniques to help your sites to the top of the search engines.
well if i get too many links from high PR tforum threads only with my targetted link ans with the targetted anchor text though knowing that it will pass less juice still can it beat my other compeitotrs having less pr backlinks but me having high pr backlinks from forums and with the target anchor text (on serps)
