Was wondering if someone could please explain a few things to me: - What factors go into determining a page's quality score? - Does quality score affect your ranking in search results as well as PPC bids? If you have a low quality score is it impossible to reach page 1 even if you have a huge number of good backlinks? - If I have an "intro" splash page for my site and that's the homepage that I backlink to and PPC to, will it have an extremely low quality score because it's just an intro page, or does the score take into account the entire site? Thanks!
Be simple and true... - have quality contents - even a few but strong backlinks will surely help - avoid bad neighbors which is common right now (especially paid links) so watch out your links.
Make sure you've got relevant content on your landing page and that it's unique. Transparency (what you do and how you do it) and how easy it is to navigate are also taken into consideration. They've also started to take into account page loading time so make sure it loads as quickly as possible. Quality score doesn't directly affect your natural search rankings, but consider that Quality score is based on relevancy and relevant content does help with your natural rankings. Similar guideline.
So since I'm using an intro page, will my quality score be extremely low since there's barely any content?
