    Hello,

The company that i work for are wanting to have their website fully redesigned to improve their competitiveness online.

I have been delegated the task of having the site made etc.

I am asking to see where people feel i should look to get a reliable, professional and cost effective web site created.

The site needs to be in the same league as www.griffintechnology.com and www.xtrememac.com

What price range would be suitable?

    Thanks

I'm thinking a minimum of $700. Great Web 2.0 designs, flash coding, very professional sites that your league is in.

We have a budget of about $3k.

The trouble is we have found it difficult to find someone to complete the work.

    http://www.getacoder.com/

That's your best bet, with a 3k budget you will get over 50 offers easy.

Always choose someone with the best steady reputation if you go there.

    Sure anytime,

But as I said make sure to get someone trusted and who has already completed a few jobs. They will charge more, but you'll end up getting more bang for your buck.

Your best bet is going with an established web development firm, especially if it is for your employer, you don't want to outsource it only to find that confidential information about the company is floating around a 3rd world country somewhere, not to mention mis-communication of brief and lack of on-going support!

Anyway, I have dropped you a PM.
