I don't think so we would see them in final. I would looking for Italy Vs Germany/Spain final. It would be dream final for me.
i disagree we need something new, to refresh this competition otherwise it will be a boring football also seems that everybody has completely forgotten about reigning champions, Greece. they got through to this stage wile barely losing any games.
Germany will make it but I'm not sure about the second team in the final. It's definetly not italy for me (they used all their money for the worldcup ) maybe france
Germany always played silly football but they still managed to reach de final phases...I think this year will be pretty the same. They also have a quite easy group so no problem for them to get into quarterfinals. Personally I think the team who's going to win Group C, "the group of death" will make it all the way to the final.
Yeah they have easy group and have good chance to reach final. What if we found Italy and Germany in final? We would see one of the boaring game since both teams play defensive football.
Germany playing defensive football?! The Bundesliga has the highest goals/game average in Europe. When a German team is around you're always sure to see goals as these guys are taught to shoot at any occasion

I think this is as open a contest as there has been for quite a while. Holland - have a great chance with the players they have, but their consistency is called into question Germany - performed well in the last WC, when they were not really expected to. Might just not have the juice yet, but watch out in the next couple of competitions Italy - Have plenty of star performers, but losing Cannavaro will be a sore blow Portugal - We all think of them in high regards because of the Man Utd influence, but realistically who do they have up front? Spain - Lots of great and young upcoming players here, Torres, Iniesta, etc. They have a habit of underperforming though Czech Republic - Have been quietly plugging away at world rankings, but have they a decent enough squad to go all the way? Lots of reasons why each could win, but also doubts can be found for all of them. Interesting competition alright, even without any direct UK interest (bar the load of players who ply their trade in the Premiership)
