Why does this keep coming up? In 2012 nothing bad is going to happen, well nothing that bad. If it does then i've had a good run, and no one will be able to piss me off for saying nothing like that will happen. The internet will be around for a hell of a long time. The world will not end in 2012 either, bloody mayans.
I did a lot of research on the Mayan codices in college... such interesting stuff. What I don't get is why people are taking this 2012 seriously... it's like being legitimately concerned about Ragnarök from Norse mythology
Wow, thats weird, I heard about this a few days ago. Well, Rome didn't last for ever, Maybe the internet can't either... A lot of things are suppose to happen on 2012, people think it's too crazy to be true, remember past times when crazy things happen, people never imagined. As far as I'm concerned the government can fuck themselves, keep out of my face or I'll rub shit in yours. Is the Mayan stuff really as true as everyone makes it out to be? Someone said that the Mayans predicted the start of the internet and tones of past events. The only thing I know for sure is that you can't know for sure.

I've never heard of any such predictions. The Mayan calendar simply resets every few thousand years. I forget the exact numbers, but 0.0.0.0.0 is the date for the beginning of the world, and 13.0.0.0.0 or something is the last day and resets back to 0.0.0.0.0. The next reset occurs on the Gregorian calendar sometime in December 2012. That's where 2012 came from.

Recently i have found an interesting video about Internet Ends in Year 2012 issue. You can watch the video here. What do you think? My opinion is that 3G is running widely now and 4G will come in year 2011. So i dont think the internet will be shut off.

The pc crash is about programming but this internet has to do with political issue. So yea its 50:50 for me too
