Money. Health is overrated, I honestly wouldn't mind dying at 50, so long as I become a millionaire at 20 and live a really good life, quality not quantity. Billions of poor people have their health, yet they're not screaming in joy about it. Not to mention, money can buy health (best doctors, medicines, treatment, care, ect)... poor people can die of flu.
Well health mean (I meant) some sickness or illness like chronical, unhealable with money or best docs, maybe some kind of hancicap, there are much people who could talk about it To bolded and underlined quote of your post, that is what health means unhealthy can not have quality life like healthy, I mean there are diseases which require other people care 24/7, even very rich persons suffers from it and they would rather give their last cent to be healthy just for 1 year of life But nice idea and point
Dont tell me health is overrated, try not having health since your bloody 17 till now which im 21 and tell me how mentally corroded you get. Overated my ass When you cant get out of bed or digest any meals then tell me that.
oh yes I forgot perhaps you are perfect healthed now, maybe not, I dunno, but most of people realize what they can loose, after they actually lost it. Then, specially in health, it is fatal, unreversable and very sad but too late to fix it. take care for your health money come and go... oh yes (im so fool), now I know what I forgot in the poll, HAPPINESS (too late to add there, sorry for that )
I think that money is everything. Medicine progreses fast so in near future you can buy new heart, backbone, lungs.
Can we buy brain or nervous system ? I would love to upgrade my RAM or better CPU in head I think today in 2008 we aren't so close to manage fix human body from all diseases, for example just AIDS, or cancer or simple diabetes (!!!) can not be healed, that is not perfect medicine at all
Several days ago I watched documentary about 2057 years. And my mind changed into optimistic way. Ofcorse it's only scientistists prognoses, but I likely to believe them.
The point I was making is that I hate the way people say 'at least we have our health'.... memories are worth more to me than my health, money is worth more... obviously I don't want to be in a wheelchair or something which would make having money pointless, but I wouldn't mind dying a few decades too soon and living life to its fullest. There's no right or wrong answer, just personal preference.
