Find a bug/defect in my video bookmarklet and get $50 (paypal)

Here is the deal, I have a video bookmarking site where users use a bookmarklet to collect videos from various websites. This contest will involve my site's ability to retrieve the video from the webpage and embed it to the user's collection.

Example I find a video on a blog that I like. I then use the bookmarklet to add it to my collection. If everything goes right it will successfully run in my personal collection. If this process fails then you have found a bug and you get $50 (paypal payment). Easy money for you!!!

To participate go to myVidster and register (in the Referral field put 'DP Contest') and grab the bookmarking found on the user's homepage.

Expectation: myVidster cannot bookmark videos from sites where their server's blocks the hot linking of their videos. If you have a work around for this I give you $25 for solving this known issue. For example you cannot bookmark cnn.com videos.

I found a bug....regarding AOL video(Aol's embed code is a redirect to the source site's embed)....

Vidieoh, I did a test, please confirm if the test embed code I created by hand is correct.

It looks like the embed code on Vidieoh's homepage is not compatible for remote servers.

I was able to bookmark videos on the video page though (embed code is slightly different).

myVidster can rebuild the embed code with the information given, so if there is addtional information needed to allow it to be embed remotely, then myVidster has no way of accomplishing this task.

So this might fall under the expectation of an website not allowing hot linking of video (for the homepage embed in this case).

Please correct me if I am in error.

I click on "add to myvidster" to get the videos on the bottom of the page.
I get

But if i click the blue 1|2|3| links on the bottom of the preview window, the videos appear normally and can be added normally.

Hi! I found something.

Kindly check it here.
1. The items should not be clickable since it's just an instruction.
2. By clicking the image, it will redirect you to an empty bookmarklet.
3. Thus, if someone will unconsciously click the "Add Video"... it will create an empty entry in his/her favorites.

Another thing, are these intentional or is it a typo for "but really kewl"?

A minor issue. The username/password boxes end in a ugly and open way rather than looking like a neat box.

 

I hate google video, they keep changing the location of their thumbnails, from now on I am just going to have myvidster take a screen shot of the video player. PM with you palpay account for your $50.
