Who has a blu ray DVD player

Anyone who buys a Blu-ray player is a dumbass, The PS3 has one of the highest rated Blu-ray players and is usually cheaper that just a player.

Some blu ray movie cost three time more than normal DVD. I would never buy one myself. However, there are netflix (online dvd renting service) that cost only 24 buck a month.

Some movie look exactly the same as DVD (eye wide shut, run lola run) but some looks totally different (LOTR, xMEM)

 

I buy quite a bit of Blu-ray movies, they look awesome on my 50" screen.

count me int he ps3 bunch. I'm a netflixer and often I'll rent a movie just because it's br, not because it sounds good.

 

No, I haven't got one as yet. But I would like to know what the difference is between a normal dvd player and blue ray, is it the quality of the picture?

 

I don't find any good reason to buy Blu-ray yet.

yea, it looks much better. IMO DVD is good enough, but Blu Ray is really good

 

from june 8-13 walmart is offering a $100 gift card with the purchase of a blu-ray player, including the ps3. that means you could get a player for $200, essentially. also they'll be reducing the price of br movies to $15

 

i saw it.. and i've just bought my PS3 last week

 

you can return it and buy it again at walmart. they should accept it within 30 days

 

newegg doesn't refund, even if the system is not opened. Anyway, walmart charge tax so half of the $100 is gone (399x.0825)

 

I have no intention of buying blu-ray dvd's or a player, I just do not watch enough movies to justify the cost, maybe some day.
