Does anybody have an idea of how long this takes? do you get a reply back if you are not accepted?

anybody know any tips or fast tracks of getting in

 

Back in 2005 or 2006, it was 4-6 weeks. It could be longer now.

no, they simply include your site without any notifications. i got my site included in google news. They declined once asking for contact info.

 

It takes about 4 to 6 weeks usually.

 

1. It takes a few business days. A week max.
2. Yes, they will let you know even if they refused your application.
3. A blogspot blog will get you in the game in just a few days.

Your telling me they will let a blogspot blog into google news? ahha dont think so

I've been waiting like 1 month know and heard nothing back. i fit all requirements as well.

Quite often press releases from major sites get indexed without explicitly submitting to google. We run an active press release campaign for our web design company website and quite often we find our press releases make their way into Google news.

Yes but if your using another company to put out a press release, all the traffic goes to there site and not yours!

i got a reply back yesterday . apparently i havent provided contact information, proof of editors and writers etc...

This is completely false as i have a Contact form, contact address and email.

I assume you are trying to get registered as a news site?

Even if they say that you did not make the requirements and you say that you do, that simply goes to show that they have additional hoops for you to jump through to get things done. You can complain all you want, but complaining won't get you into their system. Put your nose to the grindstone to give them what they want in the format they want it, or give up - this is really your only two choices.

 

I gave what hey wanted i could 100% say they didnt even visit my site

besides i have "CONTACT US" in header 1 large font in the top menu clearly visible
