YAY!! Jimmy Carter #2 coming just in time to completely destroy the country!! I have never seen so many well meaning, but naiive, people cheer so loudly about a candidate they know NOTHING about. We have no idea what he will do. He trained in a Muslim grade school. He has practically zero track record of accomplishment (other than being the most liberal human in the Senate). And everyone he seems to associate with is an insane anarchist. Could someone tell me succinctly why you like B. Hussein Osama so much other than he talks a good game and gives a decent speech? Is anyone at all concerned that he very well may be a "Manchurian Candidate"? (watch the movie) Look, I am not saying McCain is a real winner, but B. Hussein Obama scares the hell out of me!!
I don't agree with that. But I COMPLETELY AGREE with your support of Ron Paul. He is the only real candidate, and I voted for him in the primaries. A truly amazing, brilliant and principled man. And you know EXACTLY where he stands on the issues. If only...
I don't understand people like you. You apparently do nothing but follow the media. Do you really think that someone who has ZERO track record of getting stuff done with be elected to the United States senate? Doubtful. People are tired of the same sort of government. The same corrupt and dirty politics that have plagued the system with our so called 'experienced' candidates who time and time again have failed to yield any decent result. We have stuck to the same schema of politics for two decades... it's time we get a leader who sees things different. FINE, his resume isn't as great as Hillary's or McCain. What can Hillary offer? Probably pretty much the same thing as Bill. What can McCain offer? Same shit as Bush. We stay in the war, oil stays high, education STILL sucks. I realize a lot of people are ignorant enough to say The presidents actions hardly affects me... Yeah, put McCain in there with more policies following Bush and the United States will no doubt end up even worse off than we are today.
Making fun of someone's middle name is suitable for a schoolyard taunt if you're 11 years old. It's not suitable for an adult discussion. And to the OP - Yes absolutely I am rejoicing. Finally the primaries are over and we can get to the real task - which is helping Barack Obama beat John McCain. We cannot allow the neocons (and McCain is a neocon, make no mistake about it) win four more years of the White House after what they've done to us the last 8 years. http://www.McCain-BushChallenge.com
^ I agree Zibblu. Good thing that the primaries are over and now the real "battle" begins. Now it's time for the Republicans to shape up and for the Democrats to get their act together. I wonder if Hilary will ever consider running for VP?
that's my question... whether Hillary can RUN for VP?Even though she has contested Obama in primaries?
I do agree zerk, but after eight years of Bush I certainly can see the attraction in Obama... he's young, charismatic and offers some new gloss to the tired American administration... certainly his more conciliatory approach will do wonders for American foreign policy...
Obama would provide some fresh changes especially from an "outsider" perspective and it is really time after 10 years of living in the bushes. I sincerely hope that he wouldn't be tied down by party politics and be allow to spend his time revamping the sad state of govt and economy left by Bush legacy. Well that is if he defeat McCain
I saw a great news thing where reporters were asking Obama supporters why they liked him and they kept saying things like "cause we need new hope for change" Yet when they were asked to name one policy of Obama they could not answer. Shows how simple minded most Americans are
Actually Obama started his political career in '96 by challenging all of his popular opponent's registration signatures one-by-one. He brought his army of lawyers, got the popular incumbent disqualified, and ran unopposed. So remind me how upstanding and different his politics are...
Mmmm so him preventing his opponent from clinching the nomination via fraudulent signatures? God forbid we let this man into office who did such a horrible thing.
Important point of blatant contradiction in your statements here. You claim we know nothing about him yet according to you he is basically the anti-christ, a muslim, the most liberal human in the Senate, and he scares the shit out of you even though you "know nothing about him". Which is it?
HOPECHANGEHOPECHANGEHOPECHANGEHOPECHANGE HOPECHANGEHOPECHANGEHOPECHANGEHOPECHANGE HOPECHANGEHOPECHANGEHOPECHANGEHOPECHANGE
Not really. Unlike you, I'm not under the assumption that Obama or McCain cares about me or my well being. You're the one that's bought into the hope and change BS, not me. So when the 4/8 years are up, you will be wondering how you could have been so foolish and gullible. Then the fun starts again, we will throw the tired old "hope and change" slogan out the window for a brand new one and re-start the process again, where a new batch of sheep take the bait.
