Awful phone. As a "phone" it is garbage. as a "gadget" it is a great fun toy with little value other then showing it off as a pretty object you keep in your pocket. It dosen't have the basic features most phones should have. It has a closed API that requires you to develop on a mac and with the ability to create your own software (to sell, share or use) is just awful. Sure if you want a cute expensive status symbol of a phone that is awful for writing emails, texts, Instant messaging (if you can stay connected long enough) then its a great phone. if you want to do anything productive then get a phone like the sidekick, blueberry or anything that has a full qwerty keyboard and has an open API.
I just got it a few months ago from paypal funds, and its a really cool toy. the only problem is im afraid to walk around with it in my pocket. im afraid i might fall or somthing and crack the screen.
If it was 80 gigs and the same price as the classic I would buy it in a second but right now I just dn't think it's worth it.
The memory space on it is phenomenal but I have just a regular Ipod and im not in the mood to spend more money.
Great time killer when you are bored (traveling, walking, etc) - but buy some external (remote) control too, as sometimes it is annoying to watch the display, because on blind touch you can miss the buttons to arcel, what currency do you have?
