Hi, I have been confused that i got 70 percent of visit from the india but my target market is us and uk and also my server will be hosted in canada. so pls give me your suggestion and helping factor for this situations. i wants to convert my traffic 70 % from us and uk and 30% from india waiting for your reply
Okay.. you need not worry about the traffic you are getting from India. Just concentrate on getting more traffic from US! One point to make, it helps to have local hosting to to get higher serps. If you are targeting US, better host in US rather than Canada. Other than that, you have to give more details to make specific recommendation. How are you getting all the traffic? Organic or paid? If this is search engines, you have to find your SERP position in US as well as India. If you are same position in both places, you are doing fine. Some niches have more traffic from some region, thats it. So give the niche of your site, the traffic sources and your SERP position in each region for the keywords you are tragetting. There is no hard and fast rules here, without the details nobody is going to be able to help you.

To get more traffic from US or to promote your website in US, you need to be geo specific, You need to acquire links from the websites of US based. I think offshore software development india is very popular keyword in US..so there is no question for changing this keyword if you are actually ranking on number 2 for this keyword. Could you let me know your website so that I can look into it to resolve your issues...

I think,There is many factors will work in this case for Rankings in US Data centers, I am using below techniques for US and G.CO.UK. 1) First if your Hosting company is in US so It will always better for your Target or leave it. 2) also, you need to set Geography location in Google webmaster account and set US, it will better help with other off page optimization work. 3) Do link exchange campaign with US sites and get the more links with your targeted keywords From US country. 4) get the lists of FREE US claissifieds, Directories and post your site with unique Adwords. 5) get the lists of US article directories and post some articles with your targeted keywords. 6) submit your site in US Directories just try to focus in US country sites for all the link Building, link Baiting etc.. so we can at least best try to get Most of US IP addresses back links and wait for better updations of Google. Many peoples are agreed and other will not So its harder to say perfect answer. but I found, if you will do Link Exchanges with your relevancy category so It's not Bad Neighborhood and search engines cann't send any penalty for this technique to any particular site.
