    Hello

I have a directory running for almost a year now.
    http://www.mydirectorylink.com

As you can see I have added News and Resources in the frontpage.
I m planning to put blogs from different resources, maybe from some from DP.

Would is consider as sitewide link?If I added for free?
If I take some cash to put it there? Is it consider BAD in they eye of Google?

    Please suggests.

Thanks for your time and support.

If you put it sitewide then it would probably be considered as sitewide.

With google sending 90% traffic to my sites. It's natural for me to keep the big G in mind. I guess the same goes for others too. It's unfortunate but unavoidable.

It may be your directory but sadly its google's internet. They say jump, you say how high.

JamieG: You have been posting " fun to read " posts today :p

There is good competition to big G in 'PPC and ad space' but with their SERP policy they have managed to kill some (text-link-ads) :)

First time I've ever applauded one of your posts. :D

And that puts an end to that:cool: I read an interesting article in PC Pro yesterday about their websites traffic, here's a top 5 breakdown of major search engines:

    Google.co.uk: 54%
    Google.com: 21%
    Google Canada: 2%
    Yahoo.co.uk: 2%
    Yahoo.com 1%

I'd be very surprised nowadays if anybody's top referred wasn't Google, unless they've paid for a mass advertisement or are 'buying traffic'.

digitalduke, google wont know that you have taken cash for it, unless someone here tells them, if you know what i mean.

Asking here might screw it up for you but in general you are cool to do it your way.
