Do i have a virus? [screenshot] :(

Hey. I went to some site looking for a keygen for video editing software i have, but unfortunatly when i ran it my virus software told me they found a virus (AGV i have) then i moved the virus to the vault and deleted the file. But today i loged in and left the computer runing as i was having lunch, but when i came back my screen was like this.




It was kinda scarey it thought they where real!!!! but then i relised lol

any help would be apreseated.

yep it is a virus had a friend that had same virus :l he decided to format his pc i recomend u scan pc :l

 

dam! I have scaned my pc with spybot search and destory and agv. they said they found it and deleted it. but those bugs are still there.

Yup, thats a virus. If scanning doesnt work, try formatting.

 

Looks like that desktop-game programs to me, not a virus. Anyway, formatting is a desperate measure. Try a bit harder with the scans, call some buddy to help you out if you can't manage, but formatting and reinstalling everything is too much time wasting

 

run your antivirus again, and see if it finds anything

 

looks like binary toys... if your computer looks like that after restart, then its a virus, otherwise its some sort of joke probably played.

 

Can you do a system restore to a previous date, the day before you ran that program?

Start, All programs, Accessories, System Tools, System Restore.

Not getting anything from Anti virus softwarez. so im not sure of the name sorry.

Ill give restoring my system a shot from a previous date.

 

Just format your hard disk and re-install windows.
That's the best way to protect your PC and data.

 

go to start then run type msconfig then startup and disable unknown programs.
Then clean your registry

 

Never go to a keygen site on your main computer, use a second computer or a friends. Turn off your system restore then run your anti virus program again, virus's will hide there and keep coming back.

find the name of the virus if possible , try spyware doctor should be good

 

The only other thing I've seen like this is a stress reliever softwares, there are hammers, machine guns, tasers etc and also a option for this bug thingy.
