Google groups vs. Yahoo Groups?

I was wondering which Groups brings more traffic/higher quality traffic?

I can't really tell because although Yahoo has more visitors, Google is probably more popular, so this is a loophole to me

 

Groups are a waste of time imho. I've made dozens of them with all unique content and never had much luck with them. Rewind 5-10 years and they were gold, but these days the newer/more popular social networks are more worth your time.

 

I got almost no traffic from Yahoo Groups.
Didn't try the Google Groups for obvious reasons...

 

I suggest you devote your time with Social Networking. Don't try on Google Groups, or else...

 

I have not tried any of them, just making one way links to promote my site,
but not using these groups.

 

I would suggest using Google group for this purpose. I have never seen a yahoo group page getting any rankings on Google and there are lots of results from Google group that appears in its main search

 

Trying both will not guarantee you success.

Groups is not worth the time. OIf you really have to waste time then waste it on the less worse Yahoo.

I think you are not going to get many visitors from these groups.

Anyway, I think yahoo answer bring a little bit of targeted traffic.

 

Yahoo groups are definitely more popular and older than google groups with a lot more Yahoo groups vs google. I find Yahoo groups quite effective in email marketing meaning you join a whole bunch of big Yahoo groups so that you can email them daily, but you really need to join a lot, say 100 groups to bring meaningful results such as a dozen or more sales per month.

Most of the links in yahoo groups are spam while in google they'll flag your links there as spam.

Both of them will give you traffic but I don't know if traffic there are quality.

I am voting for Google Groups , I love google adsense , google search , google mail system etc..
