Logo contest, $50

Hi,

Another boating logo needed, this one needs to be able to work on a 468 x 60 web banner clearly and also to work on a white background if needed.

The wording on the logo needs to be as follows..

Open to ideas, but I think something that looks prestigious but represents an international flavour.

I will keep this contest open until early next week. Feedback might be a little light over the weekend but I will try!

Confused a bit so going to ask. Are you looking for a logo that is 468x60 or are you looking for a logo that will fit on to a 468x60 banner?
What size should the logo be?

I quite like this, obviously I havent got a massive choice so far.

I am not sure full colour images is the way ahead, I think something a little bit more corporate that is a bit more distinctive would be better.

I am looking for a proper logo, but it needs to be able to work on a banner size as described. Basically not to tall!!

 

Here is what I came up with. The logo is small enough so it does not take up the entire 468x60 I did one with the text and one without. The logo should not have as much text on it as above but can be placed into the banner later on. To cluttered I felt when designing the logo

I quite like this logo, I am not sure about the wavy text and the image is a little bit olde


But that said it is one of the better ones.

Now things are looking good, I like this one the most so far, I like the wway the wording had been done, the image of the boat is good as well, I might tweak the wavey element as it looks a little odd.

That is quite an interesting concept, I like it a lot becuase it reminds me of the yellow pages but it is boating. This is getting tougher! The problem I see with this one is that it wont work very easily on a 468x60 banner as it is a bit tall.

As mentioned in my other contest, I am having broadband woes, also DP keep on bringing up DB errors so I am extending both contests until i can spend some meaningful time looking at the entries.
