Why google change favicon.ico?

Did you noticed google change it's favicon.ico?

before looks like :
now is:
http://www.google.com/favicon.ico

so ugly, why?

Maybe google wanted to write Beta there also but it didnt fit lol

 

Looked better before IMO

 

I like the old one, they might plan to update more frequent of favicon like their logo.

 

Glad I'm not the only one that hates their new favicon, haha.

come on guys... why wasting your time on this little thing... let google choose any F****** ico... what we have to do with icon?
