hi!!! everybody we are creating a social networking site still it doesnt reach to more people bcoz its a new site so i wanna advertise my site without paying money..... if anyone can please tell the suggestion..............?
Does your site have a specific social audience, or just everyone? If it isn't a niche social networking site, it might be harder to figure out where to start advertising. Also, there are so many general social networking sites, I don't think many people will just signup for yet another social networking site unless there is a niche or a specific reason. What is your sites "edge" over the others? We can use that to figure out how to market your new site.
I agree completely that social networking sites are dying as the market is saturated. Even those that say they will pay you to social network are not doing well, so if you intent to start a site that does not pay your members, you can forget it.
try something else. social network won't bring much cash to you as you can see it's overcrowded in this market!
Hi, it would be good to hear what your 'edge' is.... social networking is being done to death and you may be wasting your time and effort unless you have a real niche/difference from the others. You could of course use forums, other social networking sites or just good old seo? Dave
i COMPLETE AGREE with him , the social networking market is completely dead , you can't beat orkut , facebook , hi5 , myspace etc , so stop wasting time on it

forum marketing and ppc cant be beat. also create a profile at myspace and facebook , invite friends and you will be amazed at how much traffic you receive.
