    WordPress blog script is the actual blogging engine. You need this to publish your posts/pages.

    WordPress theme is a way for you to change the look of your blog.

    WordPress plugins are ways to add functionality to your blog.

    mizaks, summed it up very nicely, and also you dont have to use it for a typical blog either, with enough time you can make it look rather less like a blog.

    u not got hosting and u thinking to post :confused:

    well after geting the host just install wordpress using fantastico ( a few clicks to install )

    goto admin panel and click on few links there to do experiment

    after doing the above three things do i get menu bar or home ,about me,contact,advertise etc links in homepage?
