Can I Do This? Copy Forum Database to New Site?

I recently sold one of my warez forums, but I backed up the database, I was wondering if I bought a new domain, and imported the forum, and the begain to add new threads and run that forum, can I do that? Obviosly I would need to change the logos and everything, but is this legal?

If it's legal, can I eventually sell the new forum too?

I think you should be able to. So long as you use the same Software and version of that software. I'm not to sure about the legal part though.

Well I used to own the forum, so wouldn't it be my property? I backed up before I sold the site.

If you sold the site, then the site would be the other person's property. So Im guessing that it could be theft or something like that if you do do what you are asking.

Most likely the warez are not hosted by your site anyway.

No its all warez linking, no actual ownership, all threads copied from other warez forums, so who would argue it?

    Sweet.

I dont beleive you can do this. Because when you sold the site, you sold the content on the site too. So in reality in belongs to the other party.
