I heard making Press Releases & Articles help in SEO ---- does anyone ever do this?? I had a few questions: 1) If I make one article, and submit the same exact article to around 50 article sites...... is that ok ? Or should I make many different articles. 2) Should I use anchor text link only once in the article, or multiple times for multiple keywords for the same site??? i.e. --- Im trying to make anchor juice for bluewidgets.com ..... and keep linking to bluewidgets.com but changing the keywords to "Blue Widgets" Bluish Widgets" "Dark Blue widgets", etc. Thanks!!!!
hi, its good to submit to few article site as submission to many site will make a wrong impact. also using anything few times and to right blend will help boost the ranking
I use press releases more then I do articles since I usually post the article on my sites and have not had the time to revise them for article submission (to avoid the duplicate content issue). They definitely help in boosting your rankings. Here are the free press release sites that I use. Cheers
Google could see as duplicate content and penalize you...so be careful. Maybe use different anchor text and also different links...but not to many...this also depends on the size of the article too (if it's a big article then you can use more).
yes article/press releases can be amazing sources for traffic. You can submit as many places as you can as long as they are relevant. For keywords I would keep the same article and just change the link text to weight out the keywords for all the different article submission places... but depends on your competition for those keyords. If lots of competition stick to the main keywords, if you can get ranks easily then spread out the keywords.
I heard that duplicate content isnt good on Google.... bascially if I sent the same article to 100 press release / article websites ..... it's not good I am thinking of making about 25 different articles and going crazy with them in the submissions
