Read all the advice people have already given you about niches, plus all the advice they've given everyone else who asks about niches. Then pick a topic that one, you enjoy, and two, involves goods or services. That can be just about anything: VCRs, indoor gardening, hot rods, garage storage systems, unpainted furniture, rug-laying contractors, window installation, birth control, kids' clothes, boarding schools, choosing the right college, job searches, wedding planning, ski vacations, divorce litigation, retirement plans, arthritis, hip and knee replacement, nursing homes, burial insurance!

You're going to be starting with a free blog, right? Why not pick a few niches and try them all?

Every niche is good as far as you know a lot about it. That way you will be able to write interesting content and attract visitors. If you choose a niche you don't know anything about... then it will be a lot harder for you to get the traffic. And only consistent traffic will let you earn good money with Google AdSense. Best of luck!

Stick with what you know. Don't look for the most profitable niche. I don't know how many times this has to be stressed.

    You know
you will never ever in your life will make cash with adsense if you try to go with high paying keywords or niches that you think will make you loads of cash..
This is where every single person goes wrong. You do what you love, because you dont get bored about it and you will share your insights about it and then you will get traffic, it is the best niche.

see all the top blogs, which one of them are the ones that is targeted to high paying keywords? NONE, all of them are blogs about people RANT and that is what people love. People wanna listen to stories, fights and other stupid stuff, nobody has time to read articles and stuff online, so ur niche i would say go with what you love..

1 year and it will make you more than you had expectd.

My most successful niches are in subjects I really care about.

So what do you care about?

    What do you suffer from?

What do you like to read about?

What do you want to change in this world?

    How can you help someone?

Answer one of these questions and there is a good chance you will find a niche that is undeveloped and that you will write about with passion for years to come.. The money will follow.

Other suggestions: Go the the library and browse the stacks until something jumps out at you.

Similarly go to a magazine rack and see if a subject come bounding out to you.

Exactly my opinion. The internet doesn't need any more MFA sites or junk sites. If you start a good site about a topic you are familiar with you'll not only have more success you'll have fun operating the site.

Think of one that you can write posts on everyday, if you think you might struggle then keep looking until you find one.

You must be comfortable with the niche, not expert, but happy to write about it.

In my opinion the best nich is always the niche that you love
because if you write for somethinh that you dont like you will eventually get bored and your pages will eventually stop growing.... but if its something tht you like you will keep writing and enjoy writing and participate more and more on comments, etc

so I would suggest to write in what you like and good luck :)

I also believe in making websites which I like and have a lot of popular sites

But there is also a fact that the sites that you like making might not be good paying... I like the celebrity niche but it hardly pays any good ... I get only 2 or 3 cent clicks on an average

I was at a seminar of a person pushing medical affiliates and during the meeting he got a click on adsense for 25 dollars. I almost fell out of the chair and I thought that was an incredible amount of money until he staqrted showing us his affiliATE CHECKS. tHE KEYWORD WAS xray equipment.

Ohhh yes. If you choose the right niche, the affiliate sales can make Adsense look like your kid's pocket money. I made the mistake of choosing niches that don't have decent affiliates, but when I'm ready to expand, I'm going to have my eye on niches with nice, fat affiliate payments.

i would suggest the travel niche
    but don't be general
find something specific, like a travel guide to a specific location for example.
you'll see that almost every day one like that is sold around here
