You had a conviction on your record, therefore you are legally a criminal - hence why you were rejected. Regardless of the crime committed; once a criminal, always a criminal.

Im actually playing around poking @ a couple members that act like its a sin to get a RIFLE and thats why the states are so bad The stats in the states dont show many rifle homicides. I do find pistols useless I cant even kill a deer let alone a human
People from across the pond will never understand our right to bear arms. it was that right that kicked their ass and won our freedom. What is unfortunate is that a few terrorist have been successful at curtailing our rights in this country. Govt needs to keep their noses out of our business. As far as the rifle, sorry dude, conviction of assualt, you should not be allowed to own a weapon. You gave up that right when you committed the crime.
