How often do you check your stats?

How often do you guys check your stats on CJ?

Do you sit all day and just click the refresh button to see updates or do you only check it, let's say, once a week?

And while we're here, how steady is your income?

Do you generate more or less the same amount of commissions everyday of the week?

3 to 4 times a day. CJ doesn't report in real time.

 

once a day for CJ, because it only updates once a day for me....

i am one independent affiliate program that's real time, it doesn't even make much money compared to my cj account, but i check it every hour or so, it's addicting

 

I agree with deedeedum. It is VERY addicting! I work with several affiliate companies (eggs in one basket theory) and check them several times plus my real time stat counters for my sites. I probably hit the refresh button 100-150 times a day. Its my 9-5 so I have nothing else to do!

 

I check once in the morning and once at night. No point in continually checking since CJ doesn't operate in real-time.

i actually wrote a script that checks the stats for me and record it in a database, then sends me an email to let me know when a sale happens (this is not for CJ, because CJ doesn't even update in real time)

I just have to set a cron job so that it would check every 5 mins for me, this way, i just check my email and commissions at the same time.

 

Thats a good idea, I am going to do something like that.

 

I make about 3-4 sales a month (2 in May) but I check the stat 10-20 times a day.

 

I check about 5 times per day usually. Just depends on how much I'm at my computer.

Stat checking can become addictive I was checking mine a last year at least 5 to 6 times a day but now I've forced myself to check only twice per day once in the morning and once before bed.

 

Im sure I check a good 5-6 times a day as well. I love watching those little numbers at the top go higher and higher

 

1-2 times a day but not fix some day 4-5 times.

 

Now that is REALLY fanatical

You could get it to send you an SMS on your cellphone! It would be nice - BEEP BEEP, what's that? Ooo, I just earned another couple of bucks!
