Ok, So my partners and I are going to be launching a new Diet-Fat Loss product through ClickBank in a few weeks, and we are currently building our Affiliate Resource page. We already have some really exciting promo tricks and tools to offer that are going to really boost sales...but as we research to see what other Publishers are providing, we see lots of the same old stuff. I wonder...which ones do you really want/need? I figured it would benifit all Publishers AND Affiliates if we had a thread that discussed what kinds of promo tools ClickBank affiliates are getting the most use out of. Hopefully it will lead to more sales for everyone! -To get started, what are the most important things you (as an affiliate) like to see a publisher provide? Banners? Keywords? Sample Articles? -What banner sizes do you use most? -What about linking options? Do you prefer to use the standard CB hoplink? Or do you prefer publishers you give you a better cloaked option to link to their products? -What are most publishers failing to provide you?
Here's exactly what I want from a publisher: http://www.nichechoppers.com/niche-products.html Not kissing ass or anything here, but NCMedia (Norb) provides very valuable material for marketing his/jv products.
Wow! Can't really dissagree with you there....Norb does amazing work! Still interested to hear other ideas though.
If I were creating a Resource page for Affiliates of my product, I would include everything, because different affiliates use different tools. So the best is to target all affiliates. For me a good example of a Resource page for Affiliates is the one that Get Google Ads Free has. This one > http://www.getgoogleadsfree.com/affiliates.html
All in the salescopy, every page is about selling even when your not, Follow the rules of Wallstreet ABC...
Interesting thread - thank you guys kindly for your recognition: In my observations: * I have invested months into some of these resource sections, and i nor affiliates got what was hoped re ROI * I've made MINIMAL campaigns that have just the basics which were done in less than a week and they outperform the rest... * You've probably seen me try flash, autohoplinking landers, games, forced opt-ins as lander for aff's, tons of articles/emailers, and the more you have - well yes in essence the deeper you will penetrate the markets - HOWEVER having said that - i've also noticed that sometimes when you dilute the market with affiliate material, you notice that a lot of the research looks the same and the whole campaign is second level so MANY of your viewers get lost or rarely make it to the sales page because there is so many reviews, opt-ins, bonuses, etc. - Diluting a campaign sucks sometimes. *As above - ABC - I'm finding that the sales page is end the all of all when it comes to your campaigns. When I launch a product, and test it before submission - i never do second level testing (i.e. testing traffic to a squidoo or blog or lander) - I focus on making sure THE MAIN PAGE converts without any preselling. ONLY THEN do I start taking elements of the sales pages and putting together my campaign for my affiliates. If you launch a full program and marketing included with no testing - it might bite you in the butt. *It's a crazy industry and at moments like these I find myself trying to shake this forum sometimes with just basics "Just get 100 hops a day to your domain name" - Although there are 101 techniques for you as an aff AND as a vendor - I still do no think there is a perfect formula for this. Some of the top clickbank earners and programs have minimal campaign material on purpose (perhaps) - so that it forces affiliates to be creative and not use templates, and or so that dilution as above does not occur - more clicks to the main page. I would think that building a resource center again - would focus primarily on short/sweet/strong CTA's and only use proven converters to develop further marketing materials not before. Hope that helps - I could ramble on about this one for a while... Cheers. NC.
NCMedia, you can ramble on as much as you'd like! I always learn some great tips from you so thank you.
