Hi.. I need someone that can do some small jobs for me from time to time, it will not be anything big so it will not pay so much/job. Im looking for someone cheep here so all of you that dont like the fees please do not post here or PM me with your complaints. Im mostly paying per job, for an experienced coder/designer most of the things will take less than 20 min and most of the time i pay around $10-$15 per job, so if you then do this in 2 hours or 5 min its up to you. Only thing i do expect is that you keep your time table, if you tell me 30 min for a job i will expect it within that time. Please PM me or ad me on MSN
That sounds pretty tough from the get go. If I understand you, you don't want to pay much for an experienced programmer and you're going to complain if the job takes a little longer to complete than expected. I rarely have everything go as planned, especially when working on someone else's project. And I missing something?
You just missed that you can tell me that the work will take two weeks if you want. And that would be OK, just let me know. What i do not like is when someone tells me for example what happened to me with a writer from DP recently is like this. He tells me that the job will take 6h, one day later still nothing from him, a week later (im still waiting here) I write to him again to ask whats happening, and he sends to me 5% of the work and asks me for payment, I refuse since the job is not done. 5 days later i let him know that i cant wait anymore and it will go to someone else.. 2 weeks later after that (after i get the job done by other writer) he sends to me what he has done and asks me to pay or he will give me bad itrade here at DP.. In total i waited almost 1 month, since i do not know if he is working on it or not, i cant get a new writer since he still might work on it and i do want to pay him then, but he might had left the project and i would wait for nothing. I do have a coder/programmer that does all important things and a designer, i have worked with these guys long time now and i would not change them. What i need is from time to time someone that can do small things for me that even i can do but i dont have time or motivation to do. And as i said i pay per project and most of these will not take more than 20 min for a experienced person so 3 times 15 is 45, so $45/h i think is ok for a newbie that earns some money in same time he learns.. In my world, when you quote a time in hours (or *choke* minutes.......) this is for billing purposes.
