Hey everybody, I was wondering if someone could explain me how to sell your domain names using eBay. I know how eBay works but I was wondering how the actual domain name is transferred to another owner. For the money transfer I assume Paypal is most commonly used?

Please help me out, thanks for your time

If you sell on eBay don't expect to get paid... you can transfer your domain to them but using paypal they can take their money back and keep the domain. Try using GoDaddy.com or Sedo.com. It'll be safer.

The domain transfer is done thru the registrar. I used to sell domains on eBay, but as puremonopoly stated, it's easy for the buyer to dispute in PayPal, get refund, and still keep the domain. I had it happen once, and fortunately the buyer reversed the dispute, but it was touch and go. Now if I decide to sell on eBay, I insist on escrow.com and split the fees. Escrow is the best way for large ticket items. GoDaddy and SEDO use an escrow account.
