Christian missionnaries carry out pretty aggressive conversion techniques. Not just in India but also conversions of Muslims in various places including Bangladesh. I know that villages after villages in Bangladesh converted to Christianity because of conversions. There is a topic in this site that shows that Christian missionnaries are converting Iraqis in mass. Muslims do the same but they do it by force, which sucks! I am however against violence as Hinduism tells me to do. Therefore, I condemn violence against Christian missionaries. About Sikh-Hindu, well, that was in 1984. It was committed NOT by Hindus for the sake of Hinduism like the Islamic terrorists carry out attacks for the sake of Islam. It was by the stupid Congress activists that went rampaging against our beloved Sikh brothers. I know so many Sikhs that come to my temple and many Hindus including pay visit to gurdwara. Good point ^_^ In a country with a Hindu majority the PM is a Sikh, the leader of the ruling party is a catholic and the Vice President is a Muslim. That speaks volumes about Hindus' tolerance and that is what attracts me to it. BTW, I converted today!

What interests me the most ? The fact that even if I dont visit the template or pray to the gods, I am still not a sinner. All I have to do is be kind to fellow humans and be of service to the community to be a Hindu. That's about me.

I didn't click pics. We didn't have a formal conversion. The priest just told me the basic principles and foundation of Hinduism. He was a very nice and practical man. He said if I believe in service to humanity I am a Hindu already. He said I could come to temple every weekend and he'll teach me the prayers (but thats optional). I dont even have to change my name.
