(Also, is there a way to resize images posted on forums? I like to post images with posts as some are funny... but this one looks a bit big... )

Generally most of the forums now a days, are dofollow.

I have several do-follow forums, but I keep a pretty tight clamp on spam, as I suspect many reputable forums do.

 

But will they all allow signature links with dofollow from the staring itself ?

SitePoint's a do-follow forum (I should know - I'm a moderator there). But if you think dofollow forums are going to greatly improve your rankings, you're sorely mistaken. They won't.

 

True, I don't think they help all that much for rankings.

I think they are better for getting indexed quickly for new pages or sites.
