hello all i post that topic on my blog and i loved to share it in here 2 Having your site indexed by google 10 hours after you bought the domain and set up your blog is the coolest thing don't you think? What did we do to get it indexed that fast? First we purchased a domain from name.com, the company we always use for domains because of the real time DNS name change . Then I set up a wordpress blog on hosting i already had. I upgraded to the newest version and installed a nice theme. I installed all the normal plugins such as google analytics and a sitemap generator so that it makes a new sitemap after each post. Then I did these 5 steps: 1. First I added the sitemap to my google webmaster account and i pinged other search engines with the sitemap, I included the sitemap path in the robots.txt file. 2. I added the blog to some directories at have fast approval, there are alot of those so just add to a small number. It should be more than enough. 3. I added an RSS Feed to the RSS directories, 20 or 30 should do it. 4. I commented on other do follow blogs with a high page rank, Those blogs have a fast crawl rate because they add new content often. 5. The most important thing i did was to add the blog to six social bookmarking sites, such as digg and other big sites. Here is the proof that this really works: http://who.is/whois-net/ip-address/greatseo.net/ - Check the creation date of the of the domain It took me between 4 and 5 hours between buying the domain, uploading the wordpress and upgrading, installing the plugins, and writing a few articles The end result for this effort was this: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=site:www.greatseo.net&btnG=Google+Search I hope these steps will help you in getting your sites indexed fast as they did with me. p.s i think u could get indexed much faster then that but with more work
though we have to thank you for sharing.. you could just submit in social bookmarks site and probably you page would got indexed in less than an hour
well i didnt ask anybody to thank me and i didnt ask idiots either to give there opinion am sharing this with new ppls who dont know the steps so am gonna say try it and show us how to get new site indexed in less then hour i think ur signture showing that ur selling bookmarking services so thats why u want to say its the only thing it will work in the end am teaching beginners if you think you are an expert give them some advice
I just created my blog and wrote a post and it was there in Google within few hours without any effort. Its not that you say to Google to find you, Its Google who find you anyway
submit your site in social networks like digg, stumble upon, digg, propeller will take few hours to index
blogs are usually really fast in getting into google. I usually do it within 12 hours or so. Just submit your site to google, submit a sitemap and post a few messages. that's it
Congratulations on your fast indexing, but I don't think your response to Comfis' post was deserving. Especially the reference to "idiots." This is a public forum, so do expect opinions to be offered, even if they differ from your own.
you can easily get your site indexed also by submitting it to social bookmarking sites like digg, SU, propeller and so on.
It's very common. my each and every site i am getting indexed less than 10 hours, one simple thing to do, make some back links before you are going to make your website live on the web.
Yeah I must agree with Snowbird that you were a little rough on Comfis lol? Obviously you don't know much either about having your site indexed lol. If you wanted professional advice then you should have listened to Comfis because social bookmarking will definitely get you indexed within hours. So basically if you want indexed the quickest possible way then you should work on submitting your site to social bookmarks in the beginning.
As has pretty much been covered already a site can be indexed in hours through links (nothing else is needed). My best is a new site being indexed in about an hour after adding the first link to it (only one link added). Not exactly the same, but I had one page that I updated being reindexed in under 30 mins! I wasn't tracking it for that reason, but had been working on a page while checking SERPs for that page in Google (see what keywords needed work) and during the editing/checking it was updated in Google! It might have been as early as 15 mins from when I made the change. Reality is I was lucky, just happen to make a change when Google was spidering the site, what's impressive is the speed they can add the data to their index. David Law
