Questions About e-Gold

I have just recently signed up for an e-gold account, & find myself a little confused with their interface & methods.

I see that they do not offer services that enable for you to withdraw your money to your bank account, but have 3rd party companies to do this for them.

In this case, exactly how much will e-gold & the certain 3rd party service be deducting from the money you want to withdraw?

For those who have had experience with them, would you be able to give quite a clear example of your past transactions; an idea of how much you withdrew & how much they have charged you as fees for that certain amount?

Also, how long did it take for the money to show up in your bank account right after withdrawal?

I am from the Philippines (Asia) & any tips on using e-gold, feedbacks, & the likes would be well appreciated. :)

there is no third party in e-gold. just search in google and you can find many site that offer to exchange their e-gold with some money from your bank account.

I think you've misunderstood. E-gold does not do exchanges themselves, but they provide for us a number of independent (3rd party) companies who will.

I think we both might not have the same understanding of the term "3rd party"?

However, this is not my concern. I can fully see how their system works, I just wanted to know how much e-gold + the independent exchange provider charge as transaction fees..
Since the money goes through e-gold & yet another service provider once again, I was just wondering how much these 2 companies in total would probably deduct.

I honestly think E-gold if totally bullshit , but you can get egold from ebullion.com. You can send them moneyorder, bank transfer, etc and they'll fund your e-gold.

Yes,u need to use 3rd party exchangers to withdraw egold, search in google and u will find many exchangers, but deal with reputed companies only.

Egold is not safe to use, they can block your account anytime and they dont even give u the reason.

Thanks for the honest insight. Do you know of other payment processors similar to e-gold (not requiring credit cards) that are perhaps more reliable & are available internationally?

    Thank you for the time.
