I know the Google Search box on a large website is very useful as it can help your visitors search your website's content...very useful. That same tool is also used to drive traffic away from your website...if someone searches a term, they will click the search result and leave your website! I've already had 1,023 queries in Adsense Search and only 4 clicks - leading to $0.95!! lol I don't think it's causing a lot of harm being there... What do you guys think? Do you all have Adsense for Search on your sites?
its depends on the place where u put them and also the content of the site i have got around 12$ from search that is around 41 odd clicks out of total queries of 490....... i too had removed it earlier but then added it back this month and earned around 8$ so i have placed another search unit in my site
I just put it back on ohmcheck.com because you now have the option to only display certain websites and pages within that website, ie. your own website. This allows you to have a search engine, and keep visitors on your site, and hopefully make a little extra on the way. My earnings so far have been decent, but any extra is better than nothing especially now that they stay on the site.
I have recently implemented adsense on 4 of my websites. However in the first months earnings have been quite low. I am tempted to remove it form my website however will probably test it for a month or two more. Is there any truth on some websites postings that claim to 10's of thousands per month form adsense? I have certainly see many blogs that claim to make ridiculously large amounts.
this thread was referring to Adsense For Search - which does not earn much.. But by using "regular" adsense, aka, Adsense For Content, i generate $2k-$3k/month.. I also use Kontera with Adsense, which brings in another $1k-$2k/month..
I have earned $7 so far from my blog search option . I am daily working and creating big database on my blog so visitors get more variety to search .
